This coffee is sourced from small plots nestled in the highland region of Arbegona, specifically from a village named Rumudamo, benefiting from elevations reaching up to 2300 MASL. While coffee is the primary cash crop grown here, the area also cultivates a variety of other plants, including sugar cane, false banana, spices, and vegetables.
Arbegona is one of the 30 districts within Ethiopia's Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region. Located in the Sidama Zone, it is bordered by Bona Zuria to the south, Bursa to the southwest, Gorche to the northwest, the Oromia Region to the north, and Bensa to the east. The district’s main town shares the same name: Arbegona.
