Well Mint, Colombia

£14.00

Mint Tea · Blackcurrant · Soft Floral

Well Mint comes from Edinson Argote’s farm, Finca Quebraditas, situated at 1,800 meters above sea level in the high-altitude hills of Huila, one of Colombia's premier coffee-growing landscapes. Working with the classic Castillo cultivar,Edinson balances time-honored regional tradition with cutting-edge processing techniques. His dedicated focus on high-elevation farming and precise post-harvest management allows the inherent qualities of the variety to shine through, showcasing the exceptional quality potential of modern Colombian specialty coffee.

This lot is processed using a Washed Yeast Inoculation method, designed to highlight the refined natural profile of the Castillo variety while building distinct, layered complexity. Hand-selected at peak maturity, the cherries are pulped and placed in fermentation tanks where carefully selected yeast strains are introduced. This targeted inoculation guides the fermentation process, enhancing specific aromatic compounds and developing clean organic acids while preserving remarkable clarity. Following fermentation, the coffee is thoroughly washed clean and gently dried to maintain stability and emphasize its crisp, expressive character.

The result is an exceptionally smooth, comforting cup, bringing forward deep, juicy blackcurrant and soothing mint teaframed by an elegant, velvety finish of soft florals. Silky, herbal, and beautifully composed, Well Mint offers a serene drinking experience that highlights the true art of Edinson Argote’s meticulous craft at Finca Quebraditas.
